Galaxy Cinema Haunting

Taken from Newsletter Issue 28 - August 2005

Recently when I was at work and standing on a drop box (where the tickets are taken) outside screens 1-4. I observed two of our staff members James and Saffi go to clean screen number four. Once there they held the doors open for people who had been in to watch a film and were just coming out. James as in line with procedures went in to see if there was anyone left to come out. A few seconds later he came back and told us that there was a lady still watching the credits. A few minutes passed as we waited outside and she never appeared. James being concerned went in to see if she was starting to make her way out as the credits had finished. He came back out and informed us that was no one in there. There is only two ways out of a screen, the doors where James and Saffi was standing and the door I was watching. The only other possible exit was a fire exit which when opened would set off our fire alarms. I asked him to write down what he saw and he agreed that LPS could have his story. I’ve known James for a while now and I don’t believe he would make this up. Furthermore he appeared rather shaken.
