Sound Recordings

Below you will find a list of the interesting sound recordings that LPS have obtained during their investigations. To listen to a specific clip simply click on the appropriate Play button. Not all of the audio recordings are necessarily of a paranormal nature, we will leave it up to you to decide. If you think that you can explain a sound then and let us know what caused it.

Clophill, St Mary - 27th July 2010
Listen for what sound llike running footsteps 9 seconds into the recording. At the time no one was moving and there was only one person near the sound recorder.

Peterborough Museum - 2nd February 2010
Listen for the inexplicable thud 10 seconds into the recording. It was just in front of the team on the stairs, it wasn't manmade and they couldn't explain it.

Wardown Park Museum - 28th September 2007
Listen for a strange popping sound in the Vauxhall Gallery. No one was in the room at the time.

Wardown Park Museum - 28th September 2007
Listen for a distinct chink of glass. It wasn't caused by the LPS team members present in the room at the time (as you can hear from what they say).

Epping Forest - 18th August 2007
Listen for a strange rythmic, almost muscial noise that occurs three times between 14 and 18 seconds in. We never heard it at the time.

The Ram Inn - 19th March 2005
Listen for a whistling sound about 19 seconds into the recording just after someone coughs. It almost sounds like an owl but was it?

The White Hart - 24th July 2004
Listen for a woman shouting. At the time there was no one in the room but the sound comes from within the room not from outside as it is quiet but not muffled.

The White Hart - 24th July 2004
Listen for what sounds like a demonic laugh. No one present heard it and no one coughed or even made a sound whilst the two people were talking.

The White Hart - 24th July 2004
Listen for the whisper about 4 seconds into the recording, it wasn't one of the team so who was whispering?
