General
Bedgrove was a small village lying to the southeast of Aylesbury but is now effectively swallowed up by Aylesbury’s urban development. Its history dates back at least a millennium as it is named in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Begraue. Today it is the County Headquarters for the St John Ambulance.

The Duck
The owners of The Duck in Bedgrove are troubled by a ghost who moves heavy objects around in the cellar at night. This, though, is not the worst aspect of the haunting as the sound of screaming has also been heard. The ghost has been seen when a figure in black was spotted standing by the bar after closing time.
