Wormley Wood and Broxbon Wood Investigation
Friday 13th August 2010

Investigation Start Time - 8:00pm

For our first event in August we will be travelling down into Hertfordshire to visit Wormley Wood, again. The last time we were there we went for a long walk around the woods and had a few interesting occurrences in one particular area and it is this area we plan to investigate this time. The wood itself is an ancient one being first mentioned in the sixth century.

The first part of the investigation will be in Broxbourne Wood and we will meet in the car park to the north of Pembridge Lane where it meets Pembridge Lane (two roads with the same name!!!). We will then explore the woods which should consist of a maximum walk of 2.7 kilometres (1.7 miles). For those with satellite navigation the meeting point is given in different formats at the bottom of this page.

For the second investigation we will relocate to the car park to the north of Wormley Wood (off White Stubbs Lane). From here we will walk to the vigil site which lies about 0.75 kilometres (0.5 miles) from the car park.
