Local House
A house in Park Street was said to be haunted by a vicious poltergeist during the 1980s. A woman resident had suffered the poltergeist activity for two years and finally decided she had had enough when the spirit tried to possess her. She decided to call in an exorcist but things did not go to plan and the activity escalated. After the exorcism she claimed she was being burnt and said that she had blisters all over her neck. She also said she was covered in other burn marks which would suddenly appear on her body in front of her eyes after she had felt a searing pain.
