Houghton House and Millbrook Investigation

30th April 2004

Members of the Luton Paranormal Society turned out in force for a night of paranormal investigations in deepest Bedfordshire in April starting at Houghton House and ending in Millbrook. In Houghton House members were treated to bats flying around above their heads and the feeling of something watching them that was unnatural. At Millbrook members had to contend with horses appearing out of nowhere and a steep climb to the local church (pictured above) where green orbs and a dark shape was seen gliding along the tombstones.

One member claimed to have seen a woman’s face staring at her from behind an area where no one else could have possibly been. Oddly though most members who took photographs commented that the pictures all appeared blurry or of bad quality, was this because of something supernatural that so many camera’s were not working properly what do you think? Lastly some members had travelled from as far a field as Slough. The society celebrates its first Birthday this month with an investigation of the Lilley Arms. It is hoped a sponsored ghost hunt will take place for charity later in the year.
