Turville Investigation

22nd July 2005

Members turned out in force for Luton Paranormal’s July investigation. This was the first investigation by the society into Buckinghamshire.

First stop of the night was the church of St Mary’s in Turville. Bill, team leader and hauntings expert, told the group of the haunted cottage next to the church. Members caught orbs on camera as they walked around the church and its grounds. Psychic artist Marion felt the presence of someone under a tree in front of the church. Jayne had taken a picture of Marion only to capture an orb next to her. Stephanie joined Marion and used a dowsing pendulum to try and communicate with any spirits present. Through asking questions and the answers given from the pendulum’s motions, they got the information that he was named Father David, he was a bit thin on top (hair wise), St Mary’s was his church and he had no objection to any of us being there. Marion then had an image of him and drew his picture.

After looking round the Church, members got their active boots on and walked the big hill behind the village. At the top of the hill, Bill told the tale of the lady who haunts the area. The walk then continued down the hill and along the road back into Turville. Nothing paranormal was encountered but members did discover a glow-worm or two along the way. After the long walk, it was late and some members had to leave. The ones who stayed continued their investigation down the road at Fingest. They walked along a haunted road and looked around another church nearby.

The investigation at Turville and surrounding areas was very enjoyable and we all look forward to doing more investigations in Buckinghamshire in the future.
