Cranfield, Kempston and Bromham Investigation
31st March 2006
LPS members met up in Cranfield for the start of the night’s investigation. A small team of investigators walked up Wood End Road, which is said to be haunted by Lady Snagge who was killed by thieves whilst riding her horse down the lane. Unfortunately the walk was shortened by the recent wet weather.
The second location was that of Church Walk in Kempston. The path that runs by the River Ouse up to the church is said to be haunted by a Green Lady that scares people walking along it. After walking up the path then back towards the Church, two LPS members Andy and Sam stayed at one point to see if they could pick up any activity. Nothing unusual occurred. The rest of the members carried on up to the church to look around.
After all members had joined up at the church it was off to the last location of the night. Bromham Church is said to be haunted by a ghost who walks up and down the aisle. It was not possible at this time to gain access inside the church. Children’s laughter is said to be heard outside in the graveyard. Towards the end of the investigation, Sam and Elaine did report hearing laughter near the tower end of the church.
