LPS held a special investigation in May at Horse Cross in Hertfordshire. This haunting is slightly different to the others being that a story says the ghosts of monks are said to only appear on the above date every five years.

So on May 10th a small group of investigators travelled to the location in hope of proving the story to be true. One team stayed near a wooded area and the other walked the quiet road. One member set up equipment in the wood area and walked around it, and experienced a sensation behind him in one particular spot. Orbs were caught on camera and a strange noise was caught on a dictaphone recording. Two other members also witnessed separate small bright lights from the same area but could not find an explanation for them.

The exact location that the monks are said to appear is not known; only the general area is known. There were no sightings of them on this investigation. Maybe there are no such apparitions? Or maybe we were looking in the wrong place…Roll on May 10th 2011!
