Stockwood Park
Have a Scream for Hallowe'en
28th October 2007
On October 28th 2007 Luton Paranormal were asked to take part in Stockwood Park’s Family Halloween Day to present its findings on their recent investigation at Wardown Museum on 28th September.
LPS were located in the Rural Crafts exhibit room where they displayed many aspects of the society and its investigation for the public to come and see. Pictures of LPS events and psychic art were displayed as well as a vast range of equipment that is used during the investigations. A DVD showing pictures, techniques and footage from the Wardown Museum investigation was put together, shown and narrated to, which drew a good amount of public interest.
Many LPS contact cards and membership forms were taken by enthusiastic members of the public who were keen to know more about the society and share their own paranormal experiences with LPS members.
We were also joined during the day by Media Production Student Ali Hill from the University of Lincoln. Ali came along with her colleague to ask some questions about the paranormal which will feature in her documentary on ghosts and the paranormal.
All LPS members who attended had a fun day and the public interest was high, especially when they found out that Luton actually had a paranormal society!
Luton Paranormal would like to thank Stockwood Museum, Dorle Voigt and her colleagues at Luton Borough Council this opportunity and look forward to hopefully taking part in their Halloween Day next year (which according to them will be bigger and better). So make sure you put it in your diary!
