The SPI:RIT team were called upon again early in 2008 to investigate a flat in Princess Street, Luton. The owners were experiencing strange phenomena in the form of dark shadows, objects being moved or disappearing and peculiar noises.

SPI:RIT members paid an initial visit to the owners to document the happenings and conduct baseline tests before returning for an overnight investigation.

Extensive research was done on the history of Princess Street with regards to businesses and residential dwellings. A large amount of data was collated and was kept restricted from SPI:RIT members until after the investigation. This way the SPI:RIT team would not be open to suggestion by the facts and any information from the investigation could be checked against the research.

Another flat in Princess Street contacted the SPI:RIT team as they had also been experiencing some strange phenomena. The SPI:RIT team decided with the owners to conduct experiments and hold some vigils on the same night.
