Salford Investigation

28th March 2008

On the 28th March LPS investigated the village of Salford just south of Cranfield.

Salford is a small village in the West of Bedfordshire. Its name derives from the Saxon Seathford, which means Willow Ford.

The location for this Investigation covered two short roads; Brittens Lane and Broughton Road. Two teams of three split up and conducted vigils on each site. This Investigation provided very little experiences for both teams. Some light anomalies were seen and two members had physical reactions at particular points on Broughton Road. One member also had the impression of a young boy walking along the road in the summer.

The hauntings of these sites are alleged to be the Broughton Calf who has been seen at midnight crying for its mother. The other on Brittens Lane is reported to be a dog with two heads and eight legs. The latter haunting is situated close to a local pub. We have a feeling that this may have ‘Spirit’ connections but not of the paranormal kind.
