Pednor Botton and Cholesbury Investigation
30th May 2008
Two sites were investigated for the second investigation to take place in May.
Pednor Bottom was the first location. It has been reported that on this quiet country lane near Chartridge a black figure has jumped out in front of two motorcyclists on separate occasions, only to disappear without a trace.
The second location of the night was Cholesbury Hill Fort. Its name derives from the Anglo Saxon and means 'Cealwald's burh’ (plateau camp). The Iron Age Hill Fort is believed to have been constucted between 300BC and 100BC and research suggests that the site has seen settlements dating back many years before the Hill Fort was constructed.
This location has a rather different haunting to offer. It is said on Moonless nights that pigs can be heard fighting and snorting at the Hill Fort.
