Abbots Langley - St Lawrence's Church
and Fulmer Investigation
21st November 2008
On November 21st 2008 LPS travelled down to Fulmer in Buckinghamshire to investigate a Ford that is reported to be haunted by a ghostly horses and carriage. The ‘clip-clop’ sound of horse’s hooves has also been reported near the ford.
As this site was quite small, LPS members were asked to walk the road either side of the ford and generally investigate the area.
The second site saw LPS travel over to Hertfordshire to the church of St Lawrence at Abbots Langley. The graveyard is said to be haunted by the ghost of a Mary Ann Trebble who died mysteriously and can often be seen from the cottages walking from the Vicarage, where she worked, to the site of her grave. Her footsteps have also been heard walking past with the feeling of her clothes brushing against a former curate of the church.
