Pavenham Investigation

30th October 2009

October 30th saw LPS travelling to Pavenham in Bedfordshire to investigate Church Lane and the ghost of a Cavalier who was murdered by Roundheads. Trying to escape on horseback the Cavalier jumped a gate; unfortunately his horse clipped the gate and threw him. Now in the possession of his captors he was murdered and thrown down the well, which still exists at the site today.

The investigation team did not manage to complete the first vigil as the heavens opened and LPS were forced to call the investigation to a very early close.

LPS will be re-investigating Pavenham and Ampthill’s Great Park in 2010.
