Great Hormead and Rushden Investigation

13th November 2009

On Friday 13th November, LPS travelled to Hertfordshire to investigate the churchyard of St Nicholas is Great Hormead where a monk has been seen, wandering amongst the graves. Local legend tells of a murder in the area the monk has been seen and is thought to have a connection with it.

At Rushden, a spectral skeletal hand is said to touch passers by on the shoulder at Offley Green Exchange ever since bones from a plague pit were discovered when building the telephone exchange building.

The road nearby is also said to be haunted by the ghost of a small boy who was allegedly murdered in the area.
