Luton Paranormal returned to Pavenham this year to conduct another investigation into the alleged haunting by a Cavalier whose executed body was thrown into the well by a group of roundheads. In October 2009 this investigation was interrupted by bad weather and had to be abandoned after the first vigil.

The second part of this investigation was conducted at Ampthill Great Park where a man in full armour on horseback was reported to have been seen near the Katherine’s Cross memorial which marks the area where the castle would have been.
