Towards the end of March 2010 LPS member Bill was contacted by Off World Films and Bleeding Edge Films Limited, after they had read his book (Haunted Bedfordshire - A Ghostly Compendium), with a view to interviewing him about old Clophill St Mary's church for a forthcoming documentary that they were producing about the haunting of the site. It was decided that an investigation would take place involving members of LPS and a small team of experienced investigators, with past experience of the church, was chosen. This was an excellent opportunity for LPS as we had previously tried to investigate the site with little success due to the presence of other people who had gone there to frighten themselves. The Off World investigation would include the police and security staff so as to keep the site free of intruders.
