Luton Paranormal Society Constitution

The Luton Paranormal Society is a non-profit organisation for people who are interested in the world of the paranormal. Any funds sent in by members will be used for the benefit of the members only. Members will be entitled to view society funds if they so wish at the end of the financial year.

  • The Luton Paranormal Society will provide a forum for discussion and social activities for the members that will be an adult based activity only. Members attending events maybe offered a choice of activities for a future society event which will be decided by means of a vote.

  • The Luton Paranormal Society will not be held responsible or liable for any actions by LPS members outside of society activities when not representing the club. Members who attend society activities are expected to behave in an appropriate manner. Failure to do so may result in that member losing his or her membership at a special meeting called by the President where other members attending will be asked to decide by means of a vote on an appropriate course of action.

  • A permanent Society President will oversee all activities and monies. However the President will hold an AGM only if called upon by the members to do so at a special meeting.

  • The Luton Paranormal Society will not discriminate against any member regardless of race or sexual or religious background or disability and all members will be encouraged to take an active role in the Society and its activities where possible.

  • In the event of the society having less than two members then all funds and equipment will be donated to a chosen charity.
