When you enter the file uploader you will be presented with a form in a pop-up. On the form you will first be asked to enter your name which you should type in the box. Next enter your e-mail address. These two boxes must be filled in otherwise your images will not be added to this site.

Next you may choose to add your images to an already existing album or you can enter a new album name. If you want your images to go into a new album simply type a name into the New Album Name box. If you want to use an existing album simply select the appropriate one from the drop down on the left. If you are unsure of which album to use you should select New Album on the Select Album drop-down but leave the New Album Name box on the right blank.

Now you are ready to specify a file or files for upload. Go to the first pair of boxes ( File#1 and Caption#1 ) and to the right of the File box you will see a Browse button. Use this to locate the file you want to upload (virtually any file type , GIF, JPG, PNG etc., will do). Try to send the original picture at as high a resolution as possible. Once the file is specified enter a title for the image into the Caption#1 box. This title should be appropriate and include location information (e.g. Manor Farm House - Back Room). Do this for each file using the next pair of boxes down each time.

Once you have specified all the files and entered captions for each click on the Upload File button to send the files and you will be presented with a screen to tell you it has been done. The files go to a storage area which is emptied regularly but it is always possible that there is a file in there with the same name as one you are uploading. If this happens then the file will not be sent and you will be told. If you still wish to send the file then change the file name then run the routine to send it again.

There is a limit of 10 images which can be sent at any one time. If you want to send more than 10 files then simply run the routine again (you will have to re-enter your name etc.).

Uploaded images are first scrutinised by LPS then the appropriate album created and the images added. Any unsuitable image will not be added.
